The workshop can develop negotiation and influencing skills and confidence for teams as well as enhance individuals.
The workshop combines a balance of individual and team-based skill development using each participant’s own case studies developed around past, current, and future negotiation cases.
The focus of our methodology is to ensure that new concepts are immediately applied during and after the workshop.

Irrational Persuasion
What To Expect
Traditional economics claims that people are rational and utility-maximizing. Turns out this might be, well…wrong. Much of our day-to-day thinking and decision-making is not that rational.
The burgeoning field of behavioral economics explains how people actually think and make decisions. In 2002 a behavioral psychologist won the Nobel Prize in Economics and this has the traditional economists miffed.

Influencing Skills
What To Expect
Understanding the nature of influence is essential to mastering the art of persuasion. Influence can be logical, rational, or emotional, and it requires an understanding of how people think, feel, and behave.
It's important to differentiate between how we influence others and what we are trying to achieve. Testing personal and organizational assumptions, core beliefs, and culture can also help us understand how to influence effectively.
Understanding and using an appropriate style of influence, such as accommodating versus asserting, is also crucial.
Applying powerful influencing tools, including reciprocity, framing, anchoring, consistency/commitment, social proof, and visuals, can help in the process. Finally, using questions to gain information and influence can be a powerful tool in the art of persuasion.
